By Christopher Rivera

Comic book movies have been all the rage these days as powerhouse comic book maker Marvel goes toe to toe with DC comics. Both in print, and on the big screen, these two have been sharing their stories with us for over a decade and as their movies and television series' grow in popularity, so does their fan base. But what if you missed out and don't know what all the fuss is about? It is never too late to get into them! Here are five upcoming superhero movies every movie lover will love.

Avengers: Infinity War

Combing and merging together all the many storylines from the Avengers series, Infinity War will take two entire full length movies to cover the storyline of the Infinity War, an epic battle started by Thanos and one that is for the saving of reality and existence itself. Nearly every character from the previous Marvel Universe will make an appearance and have a role in what is said to be the ultimate culmination event. The movie will also be shot on new high definition cameras use for IMAX movies!

Deadpool 2

Everyone's favorite anti-hero returns in Deadpool 2, feature some new characters and a new director as well. Zazie Beets stars as the new character Domino- the female lead actress, and Josh Brolin once again as the villain. Not too much is known about the storyline but you can be sure it will once again be filled with zany one liners and not-for-everyone comedy.

Venom

Branching off into its own territory, Venom follows the story of one of Spider-Man's most feared enemies. However, rather than completely doing an adaptation this is a parallel storyline for Spider-Man: Homecoming, Venom will take place in its own completely different Universe and will be closer to a horror flick than a straight up super hero movie. Venom will find himself as an anti-hero, facing an even more dangerous villain himself- Carnage. This film is sure to excite Spider-Man fans as it simultaneously introduces new characters, plot lines, and a genre twist.

Ant-man and the Wasp

Starring Paul Rudd once again as Ant-man, this movie has had a tight lid on it since the first rumblings of its existence. What we do know is that Evangeline Lily plays the Wasp, a co-lead and heroine with Michelle Pfeifer playing Janet Van Dyne once again. Based on those characters alone, one can assume that Ant-man and the Wasp are on a rescue mission into the quantum realm, but not much is known otherwise.

X-men: Dark Phoenix

This next installment of the X-men series is on a mission to fix the botched story line of Jean Grey from X-men: The Last Stand. Not much is known about the plot, however many of the previous X-Men cast are returning and even Hans Zimmerman is returning to give it a quality score.

With these five upcoming movies, spend your time re-watching the previous flicks so you will be ready to dive deep into these new and interesting storylines.
