Strength Through Prayer

There is a certain way we must all go if we want to live on the "fat of the land", and a certain door we must open to see reality and enjoy the gifts of the Universe, God, everything. That way is the use of our internal energies to tell it all (all that I mentioned above) what we genuinely want in a succinct and powerful way, yet not overtly where we become "control freaks" waiting for an answer. I mean think about it, to genuinely get things done, we, in life must be patient about waiting for the job to be done, we must do the same about waiting for the answer. Pray, and then let it go with occasional instructions to universe, God and everything about how we want it sort of like a builder uses the instructions and specifications on a blueprint.

The real power of the universe comes when we are patient and understanding in the fullest sense instead of demanding, fearful and conniving.

Energy works on the schedule of the Universe, the commands of God and everything, and we have to be patient, understanding and tolerant with it in order to play the game of life genuinely correctly. Without that patience, understanding and tolerance, there is not any viable strategy to win the game genuinely. Think about that statement with the underline because that is a key to how prayer really works as a whole. Prayer does not work on our schedule, it works with our right action, patience, understanding and tolerance and little else. Indeed, right action should always be our strategy, not demanding, fearfulness and conniving. So, I repeat, if you want to live of the "fat of the land", meaning your definition of success and winning, you must have patience, understanding, tolerance and right action. So ending with the original Serenity Prayer, I say this: Prayer is an action sure, but to get results we must follow the genuine rules of what it takes to pray which is a genuine patience, understanding, right strategy and tolerance for the game of what life and existence are:
God give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed, courage to change the thing which should be changed and the wisdom to distinguish one from the other. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time, accepting hardship as a pathway to peace, taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it, trusting that You will make things right, if I surrender to Your will, so that I may be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy with You forever in the next. Amen.
So, make a choice to accept with serenity the things which cannot be changed, then change the things that can be changed with courage, and cultivate within yourself wisdom to know one from the other with patience, understanding and tolerance. Also, there is not any other way to live than one day at a time, one hour at a time, and one minute at a time, one second at a time. Sure, I could make it all sound more "interesting and complicated or complex" but what would be the point. Good strategy in life and games is good strategy in life and games, and what you win depends on it genuinely because within patience is the genuine power to live, within understanding is the how of how to live, and within tolerance is the wisdom to know genuinely what to do, how to do it, and the most important, why to do it. Indeed, prayer is not just a collection of words you say with or without feeling, prayer is a specific action you take in existence with results, rules and realities. Are you ready to really live?
